I have been loving this series of drawings. And I especially love clover. My mom taught us how to pull the little “petals” off and suck the honey out of them. She used to make the most wonderful bouquets out of clover and queen Anne’s lace.
I love your Alaska Archive — I’ve always liked naturalists’ journals — the the combination of line drawings and water color and written notes. I’ve seen artists’ sketches and notes that I preferred to the painting that resulted. Perhaps it’s my ongoing affair with words or perhaps a fascination with the behind the scenes peek.

Thank you Vicki – and to all who commented on the Alaska Archive. I loved reliving that Alaska day while spending an Alaska week (20 years later!).
