The ongoing references to Downtown Abbey and its residents might be puzzling to new readers, but my original Downtown Abbey post (https://katygilmore.wordpress.com/2012/02/13/downtown-abbey/) would help make sense. It looks like an “in joke” and sort of is – but anybody can be in! Specially if you happen to be a fan of “Downton Abbey.”

Mr. Carson – her dad
The Lords Cromwell and Wolsey, and Lady Cora (two cats and a dog but they’d prefer you addressed them by their titles)
