I love your idea of patterns suggesting more than can be identified. Your journal floral pattern is similar to the Rifle paper products in which I’ve been wrapping high school graduation packages (similar to ranunculus, geraniums, and poppies). Currently, my brain finds all fields filled with metaphor and your idea of patterns suggesting a new bloom brings me to politics: why not a woman for president in 2020? What blooms in a field of flowers, not yet identified?
Now there is an intriguing thought Susan — I thought a woman for president would have been a good idea in 2016 also :(. Your graduation gifts sound most lovingly packaged – so good to hear from you!
Love that idea.

Thanks Jane – best supporter forever! xo
This flower pattern makes me think of a summer dress from the 50’s. This sounds like an intriguing project. Have fun with it!
Thanks Carol – and yes, 50s – pattern would be bigger and bolder in 60s for sure.
