In an attempt to extend summer for the next few weeks, I’ll post the series of flower paintings I’ve been working on (now packed up to take to BAC Gallery in Winslow on Bainbridge Island).
And with the flowers, I wish you a long, peaceful end to this summer!
Oh Katy, I love that one! I will be eager to see your work right here soon.

Thanks Jane! – yes right there – and now!
These are lovely. When will they be up in the gallery so i can come over and see them?
Hi Carolyn – thank you for kind words! They are all at BAC now in the front gallery – they will probably put out a couple at a time, but would bring out the others (there are five right now) if you wanted to see (such nice people at that gallery). And right on your way to book group? Such a treat to paint Washington flowers this time of year – we have a nearby farm, Wilderbee, rows of flowers for picking! So colorful.
My favorite vase, and such sweet flowers. I don’t, don’t, don’t want summer to end! Looking forward to more “extended summer” paintings.
