Armchair Series – Ireland

On this June morning, the window to my workroom stands open – sun shining, birds singing, weeds growing – the outdoors beckons. When the days of rain return, I will write about our big family adventure in May and early June. Meanwhile – two worn-velvet armchairs – purply-pink from a bedroom and blue from the sitting room of the Ferndale Guesthouse in Enniskerry, Ireland. We spent the night there before setting out to walk along the The Wicklow Way.

  1. Such fun to find these chairs from Ireland while enjoying an old Maeve Binchy novel. Beautiful! Thank you, Katy.

  2. Enjoy your sunny weather! It’s raining here this afternoon, and those chairs look pretty inviting. I especially like that pink striped one. Looking forward to hearing all about the trip!

    • Thanks Carol – and we always do appreciate this weather, knowing full well the other kind will return! As it will for you..I love it that it’s still just June for a little while longer —
