I try and try with lavender but it rarely survives the winters. Sage, on the other hand, does very well. As did catnip for years, only to disappear this year. You know the gardener’s saying, “A perennial is a plant that, had it lived, would return year after year.’

Sage I can also do. But what about thyme? Thyme rarely survives for me, but rosemary yes!
